Season 8 Corruption: Nepotism, Conspiracies, Collusion, Account Sharing, GCD Hacking, and Win-Trading
If you thought this year's Arena Tournament Realm and its "Council of Eight" was sketchy, brace yourself for an onslaught of mongoloids stroking their illegitimate Wrathful Gladiator titles. Never before has a rank one title meant less: The sheer magnitude of corruption is staggering, a sign of both the degredation of the arena community and the negligence of Blizzard. The ratio of North American R1 teams that tied to those that didn't is a ridiculous 40 to 13. And when people reference the 'wintrading season', they'll no longer be discussing s2, but season 8 instead.
Let me start by saying that I am a man with considerable clout and access to almost all information flow in the arena community. My information is for the most part first-hand and extremely accurate, but there is always the small chance that the overwhelming evidence I intend to provide may in fact just be a coincidence. Make no mistake though, this widespread corruption not only exists, but thrives and overtakes the actual legitimate teams out there.
In posting what is to follow, I will have betrayed the confidence of a dozen or more people and outted not only those that cheated to obtain r1, but those that exploit the arena ladder system for financial gain. Players, accounts, teams, and money will be threatened. In other words, I will become public enemy #1.
Anyways, the purpose of this blog is to bring attention to the corruption inherent in s8 arena, blatant or otherwise, get these teams reported so that actual legitimate teams might earn the title, and serve as a reference for all season 8 rank one titles.
This blog is fairly long due to its in-depth nature, so if you're purely looking for the juiciest of details, you should read the sections that have accompanying exhibits in the form of images, especially Cyclone 5s and Nightfall 3s. And for lack of a better way to proceed, I will expose the good and bad of every battlegroup in alphabetical order:
US Bloodlust 3v3:
"The Final Chop": [W] Zerovelocity (Hoodrch), [L] Nadagast, [D] Fx (Velsus)
"chicken nuggets": [R] Reckful, [L] Snutzington, [D] Sodahz
Despite it's reputation and popularity, BG9 had only three teams contending for the title in 3v3 and less drama than most.
With little more than 2 weeks left in the season, Vanguards, the shadowmourne ret hunter shaman team, disrupts the previously stagnant BG9 ladder by farming Benys' RLS to R1. Not long thereafter, it is suspected that Vanguards hunter, Tagurprgnant, gcd hacks . In response, "chicken nuggets" queues late Sunday night into the still-climbing "The Final Chop" team and comes out on top with a 12 point gain. Whether this game was orchestrated or not remains unknown. What is known is only that both "The Final Chop" and "chicken nuggets" wanted to tie in advance, those teams did not want Vanguards' team to receive the title, and Snutz would not be available late into the night (lol bedtime).
Fortunately enough for both of them when they tied up at 3011, Vanguards lost his first game on the on Monday during the day (to Snutz account sharing on Polleeington, Drmayo, and Cirranis as LSD) and was never able to recover quite enough before the season ended. Another R1 title for Reckful.
US Bloodlust 5v5:
"team chizzled abs": [Pa] Sallice, [Pr] Talbadar, [S] Nuvoz, [L] Nadagast, [M] Vidra
There were 3 teams are in contention for R1 in Bloodlust 5s: "team chizzled abs", Cirranis' "zerg it down", and Vanguards' "DAN IS SO COOL". Vanguards tanks yet again on the final night, leaving only "team chizzled abs" and Cirranis. The two teams agree to tie each other, but succeed only in continually leapfrogging each other.
With 10 minutes left before servers shut down, "team chizzled abs" has a two point lead on Cirranis. They agree to just queue vs. each other and battle out to decide who takes the title. The both 'supposedly' queue up, but for 'whatever reason' Cirranis never gets a game and "team chizzled abs" has a 7 min queue before entering a game that doesn't end before servers shut down. Fortunately enough for "team chizzled abs", the game doesn't count against them and they remain in the rank 1 position.
US Cyclone 3v3:
"WHERE IS MY BLUESCREEN O": [Pa] Oopsees, [Pr] Kimmli, [W] Heartnet
"the p u five five y club": [L] Sleeperz, [S] Xd (Nerdstomper), [D] Champk
"Boring Cleave": [Pa] Arrannx, [Pr] Lymbyc, [Dk] Squishyflap
"fortheweapon": [R] Oxymark (Outplayedz), [L] Benys, [S] Exploitz
A tie had been orchestrated on Cyclone 3s months before the season ended, and it remained intact until 4 days before the season ended when "WHERE IS MY BLUESCREEN O" passed them all. "WHERE IS MY BLUESCREEN O" is a shadowmourne dispelcleave with humble roots -- the warrior, Heartnet, played dispelcleave at 2500 on BG9 and even had Hoodrch play on his character for gladiator at one point . He's now anticipating Wrathful Gladiator because he arranged a game with "the p u five five y club" on the final night (more on this). What a glorious season.
"the p u five five y club" had been a part of the original tie, but didn't fair so well initially afterwards. After being passed, Champyz decided to forgo his LSD and invite Icefoxx to his team so that he could queue MLD and gain points. After all, LSD heroes are capable of succeeding as anything. However, they queue up and go 0-3 to Snutz's WLD glad sell, something MLD counters, losing a combined 37 rating. Champyz ragekicks Icefoxx from the team and decides he should probably stick with a comp he can actually manage. The team manages to pull itself back up to 2888 but decides they don't want to risk it anymore.
Tieclone manages to successfully intimidate "WHERE IS MY BLUESCREEN O" into agreeing to another tie at a slightly higher rating than the original tie. "the p u five five y club" then convinces "WHERE IS MY BLUESCREEN O" to lose a game to them in order for both teams to get closer to the anticipated new tying area . This isn't just conjecture; I know this because I was getting realtime updates from an inside source and knew this was going to happen well before the game even began.
As far as I know, "Boring Cleave" did not participate in anything shady in the 3v3 bracket. However, this is Cyclone we're talking about, so who knows what really happened, and Arrann, the paladin on the team, had a hand in some of the corruption in Cyclone 5s.
I've heard faint, unconfirmed rumors that some team fed "fortheweapon" up earlier in the season, but I don't put too much stock in it. This is without a doubt the closest thing to a legitimate team on Cyclone. But like many others, I blame them for not owning the title as their own which is something they could have easily done. Instead we have Tieclone.
At season end, these four teams tie up at 2904.
US Cyclone 5v5:
Rank 1 Teams:
"ELLENEVERFONDYLSGAGA": [Pa] Iadygaga, [Pr] Fondles, [S] Dýl, [L] Kiwiqtpie, [W] Ellenê
"xD": [Pa] Nnim, [S] Nerfterran, [L] Jugzomg, [M] Icefoxx, [R] Cuddlyjkpnad
Other Teams of Interest:
"Rather be Playing HoN": [Pa] Fictianjr, [Pr] Delrake, [S] Exploitz (Crysallid), [L] Benys, [H] Exploitivex
"these guys CS ppl": [Pa] Pyrrhos, [Pr] Zorren, [S] Yoshhii, [L] Harrvest, [M] Spoils
This is where things start to get truly interesting. Cyclone 5s corruption is rivaled only by that of Nightfall 3s.
A three way tie persists until the final weekend when the team "xD" passes them all. "xD" promises to tank down to the tie, but really never has any intention of doing so. However, soon thereafter "ELLENEVERFONYLSGAGA" passes everyone anyways and all hell breaks loose on Cyclone. In the end, every single team resorted to win-trading.
Both "ELLENEVERFONYLSGAGA" and "xD" choose to exploit a flaw in the arena ladder system.
To do this, you drive one person's MMR up insanely high by having him continually grind MMR with good players that have low MMR. Once you grind your MMR up once, you queue with other good players that have low MMR again. The system believes that you're able to carry these players to higher MMR's and thus calculates that person's MMR to be ridiculously high. Nerdstomper the Shaman did just this, and then entered games alone (1v5) vs "ELLENEVERFONYLSGAGA" and "xD" to feed them massive amounts of points in just a few games.
In these screenshots, you can see "ELLENEVERFONYLSGAGA" and "xD" do just that. "ELLENEVERFONYLSGAGA" gained 68 rating in 5 games by win-trading 5v1 vs Nerdstomper before not entering a game (which causes you to lose 12 rating by default) to end at the tie rating. Similarly, "xD" gained 92 rating in 6 games by win-trading 5v1 vs both Nerdstomper and Sleeperz .
On a side note, Nerdstomper was scared that people would see his name on match history pages like these so he immediately changed his character name to "Xd" after the dirty deeds had been done in order to avoid suspicion. However, match history pages didn't update until today which now show him there on his new character name, Xd. GJ. Also, Iadygaga publicly stated on Arena Junkies forums here that he would "NEVER blatantly go against blizzard TOS".
If that weren't bad enough, the rank 3 and 4 teams had a hand in wintrading as well. In the last five minutes before servers shut down, "Rather be Playing HoN" wintraded in the same fashion (5v1) vs Arrannx , landing 1 point ahead of "these guys CS people" when the season ended. Their hope was that if the top two teams got reset for win-trading, then they'd be able to claim the title as their own.
Zorren's team, "these guys CS people", was a little bit more elaborate with their win-trading. They arranged games vs. the team "noddin my head like yea" to wintrade up to the tie, but figured after winning 2 games and only gaining 3 points that there was a better way to go about doing it. Zorren's team and friends then played on the characters of "noddin my head like yea" to raise their MMR for them. After two days, Zorren's charter dual-boxed both teams at once to feed themselves again for a gain of 7.
However, Zorren reached the 5v5 tie from that 7 point win literally 5 minutes before "ELLENEVERFONYLSGAGA" broke the tie in the first place. Zorren then continued to feed himself some additional games from that team he was dual-boxing and another team named "Larping in My Basement". In addition, Zorren used his access on "noddin my head like yea" in order to snipe and tank "ELLENEVERFONYLSGAGA" due to that team's lower MMR. Instead, he ended up only losing and feeding that team instead. There's also a quoted skype conversation from Zorren floating around .
[10/11/2010 7:45:03 PM] soren: we need to get limity on to give me an authenticator code
[10/11/2010 7:45:11 PM] soren: so we can feed games ladygaga passed
[10/11/2010 7:45:16 PM] soren: this is ******* bull****
[10/11/2010 7:45:16 PM] raymond.allen7: listen calm down we can win trade with the alt team and fuc everyone over, we can see if people still want to tie after we guarantee it ourselve
[10/11/2010 7:45:18 PM] Proffz: honestly this sucks my team mates wont queue
[10/11/2010 7:45:19 PM] Disperse: if it comes down to it i'll just intentionally feed you guys up there no big deal
[10/11/2010 7:45:21 PM] soren: we already have creamsicles team going to fake some dc's to us on the last day
[10/11/2010 7:45:24 PM] Disperse: ah that's fine ill see if we can trade pass 3s lol
So who really deserves R1 on this horrible excuse for a BG? Honestly who knows; the corruption really runs that deep. And If you chance upon AJ's Cyclone battlegroup forum, you'll find that every win-trader is accusing every other team of win-trading when in fact they all did it.
US Emberstorm 3v3:
"Guerras Mailbox Trap": [Pa] Trapcard, [Pr] Mailbox, [W] Guerra (Evangelystic)
"Really Geared Gladiators": [P] Alundraa (Kelberotz), [M] Searlings, [S] Blackfrost
Honestly don't have that much info on either team, so I don't know if anything corrupt happened. The only thing I know is that the team "Really Geared Gladiators" was originally an MLS with the mage Icebriskedtea and a lock, and they had planned to hit rank 1 by running both shatterplay and MLS. However, when push came to shove and the team was in position for rank 1, those that already did have the PR didn't allow the other mage and lock to get into PR range, so they were left without even gladiator when the season ended.
US Emberstorm 5v5:
"cuties irl": [Pa] Kìrara, [Pr] Perfectionz, [S] Sethcohend, [L] Morsei, [H] Hughlaurie, [W] Gabbit
Like the 3s bracket of this BG, I don't have much information here either except that the priest of this team quit and the team tanked down at season end so the warrior could get within PR range.
US Nightfall 3v3:
"Chicken Noodle Soup": [H] Hype, [L] Replicated, [Pa] Lawrencejame
"five days kt will die": [D] Getoffmenerd, [P] Bcfobe, [W] Mirion
"flaberz u suwk serius": [L] Chaimer, [S] Cawlin, [D] Karizi + [R] Flaberz, [P] Zeyo, [S] Grimbeastx
"weenerz go in buttz": [H] Mesolol, [W] Mistaclean, [Dk] Deadlyìntent, [Pa] Styxia
"shut your ugly mouth": [Pa] Amaranthea, [Pr] Emrihealz, [W] Sway
"Thats Debatable": [R] Audio, [L] Filovirus, [S] Nevershock
"SKILL CAPPED DOT COM": [W] Horegoren, [H] Filoburger, [P] Hobbzok
There's so much shady **** here, it's unbelievable. The fact that it's a 7 way tie doesn't even scratch the surface of Nightfall corruption. I don't know where to start really, so I'll just start with the most notorious feeder in the history of WoW:
With great MMR comes great responsibility.
Erase fed like crazy in the final days. And he had the smarts to calculate the wins and losses necessary to get a team to the rating they needed by juggle team members in and out for every arranged game. "flaberz u suwk serius" and "five days kt will die" were the primary beneficiaries of Erase's ridiculous MMR feeding frenzy. Both teams had to balance PR and thus they both won and lost games to Erase on purpose to end in PR range at the tie. The team "five days kt will die" also wintraded with the team "kt dies" 19 times for 128 rating. Mad props for the inconspicuous feeder team name.
Exhibit 9: http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/5338/fivedaysktwilldiewintra.jpghttp://img829.imageshack.us/img829/5338/fivedaysktwilldiewintra.jpg
I'm just gonna throw a few more images out there:
Cool BG. The very fact that there's a skype conversation including every team in the tie proves both collusion and nepotism in Nightfall 3s. To give you an idea of how widespread this corruption really was, Hobbz win-traded his own alt team to right beneath the R1 tie so that if anyone dared break the tie, he could further win-trade it past EVERYONE. It was their homoerotic leverage over others to ensure that all those involved would "earn" their titles.
On another note, it's good to see that people can put aside their differences and play nice in the interest of the group. Sway (warrior of "shut your ugly mouth") blatantly wintraded past Hyped (hunter of "Chicken Noodle Soup") in S6 in the wee hours of the morning, ******* Hyped out of R1 that season. But none of that matters anymore; they're now partners in crime.
US Nightfall 5v5:
"DARNELLS A CHUMP": [Pa] Lawrencejame, [S] Cparty, [L] Replicated, [M] Xxlegolasxxz, [R] Audio
Nightfall was dominated in 5s by this team.
US Rampage 3v3:
"Kya Haal Hai Lowerping": [L] Nevz, [S] Gotrezx, [D] Nedenslol
Everyone expected there to be little to no contention for "Kya Haal Hai Lowerping" before the two week announcement. However, Vileroze, Imbald, and Innate transferred there at the two week notice and got to rank 2 in a mere two days. Not long after transferring, Prince Ooi's cousin Hassan contacted the two teams and offered to pay both of the above teams to tie up at the r3 team, "Js Bangs Grunzs Sister". Vileroze and co. stopped queueing in expectation of the payment, but due to a family tragedy in Ooi's family, the deal was unable to be finalized in time.
Innate had his flight back from Mexico canceled on Sunday night, leaving their team with only half a night to queue and gain 150 rating to close the gap and pass "Kya Haal Hai Lowerping". Looking at their match history, Vileroze's team faced 1-3 point ATC's and MLS's the entire night and ran out of time. However, at one point the rank 1 team decided to queue into them and Vileroze came out on top in both games despite Innate's 5500gs druid.
It's also been confirmed that it was Champyz who played on Nedenslol the druid. The druid is actually the alt of Sarquissed the paladin. Everyone learned of this after a skype convo was copy-pasted everywhere of 'Champyz the sour puss' claiming MLD hard-countered his LSD after his 2 game series with Vileroze.
US Rampage 5v5:
"Super Fives Heh": [Pa] Grunz, [Pr] Salinelol, [S] Ðañ, [L] Cheezitx, [M] Chillbro
"The Slayers": [Pa] Davex, [Pr] Nekrolyte, [S] Gotrezx, [L] Nevz, [M] Revert, [R] Furi
Not much to say. This is a legit two way tie between two teams that hate each other, but put aside their hatred somewhat for the title.
US Reckoning 3v3:
"We Are actually Bad K": [Pa] Supergayfish, [H] Zetoxical, [Dk] Mesmerizex
"more like chll chapped": [M] Trixbunneh (Xmo), [L] Cheerrios, [S] Tonydatiger, [Pa] Toucansam (Belligerentz), [W] Captnkrunch (Raycharles)
Not much to talk about here, besides the fact that everyone's favorite paladin, Belligerentz, will have another R1 title to hold over you.
US Reckoning 5v5:
"five guys doin it xo": [Pa] Athletetwo, [Pr] Beesuit (Shouri), [S] Biotoxz, [L] Nesleh (Bandi), [H] Azwraithz
Other Team of Interest:
"Collection of Bads": [Pa] Palantis, [Pr] Jordons, [S] Truckz, [L] Facadè, [H] Daginz
Going into the final weekend, Shouri's team had a 70 point lead over Jordons' "Collection of Bads". Frustrated after losing a series vs. Shouri, Jordons decided to wintrade 29 games from 2863 to 3016 from 3:30 to 6:30am two nights before the season ended by exploiting MMR with the same 5v1 games as seen before . The person on the opposing team who helped them win-trade was Achuu. Fortunately enough, Blizzard responded appropriately and reset the team to 0.
Later, Jordons created a thread on Arena Junkies, claiming that Shouri's team was "just as shady" because they were greedy and refused to tie. He also states: "Were they the better team? Absolutely. [... But] I fail to recognize the notion that someone 'deserves rank1' therefore they should get the title."
US Retaliation 3v3:
"Thats Just Renciminent": [M] Vileroze, [L] Claírvoyant, [Pr] Traumatized (Hawtstuffs)
"Robots and Peasants": [M] Vileroze, [Pr] Voksen, [D] Velsus
"Misclick on Blood Furnace": [R] Redefined, [M] Sheldingle, [P] Dirtydawgz
"Graduated from Hogwartz": [L] Willymac, [S] Totempokelol, [P] Patzy
"Graduated from Hogwartz": [L] Willymac, [S] Totempokelol, [P] Patzy
"Sup bro Wanna dock": [M] Feener, [L] Rihannaqt, [S] Strips, [R] Mileyqt
Vileroze has two teams, including one with me, on Retaliation 3s that tied up at the same rating for R1. Vile left both teams, however, and claimed to hate Retal queues so much that he would never queue there again unless absolutely forced to do so. Hence the steadily-growing tie over the season's duration. Also, interestingly enough, Vileroze's team "Robots and Peasants" is the first R1 sell team that actually achieved their rating legitimately, without account sharing, win-trading, or any other shady tactics.
The teams "Misclick on Blood Furnace" and "Graduated from Hogwartz" earned their rating legitimately, but the same can't be said for "Sup bro Wanna dock". The team "Sup bro Wanna dock" is actually a sell team that account shared to reach their title. The actual people that played those accounts are Champyz on mage, Voodoomoose on shaman, Rithz on lock, and Rensy on rogue. You can see that that the team was struggling in the 2200's before those 4 people started playing on their accounts to sell them r1 .
US Retaliation 5v5:
"saized": [Pa] Stormand, [Pr] Traumatized (Hawtstuffs), [S] Emcl, [M] Vileroze, [L] Claírvoyant, [W] Oh
Other Team of Interest:
"Get off my D": [Pa] Vastian, [Pr] Curvez, [S] Zahkien, [L] Hiyahyah, [W] Xtl
There was a two-way tie between my team, "saized", and Willymac's "SERADACTYL CA CAWW" team for the latter half of the season. However, Zarrac's team "Storytime with Ecobodia" inched its way up in the last week to the tie. Seeing this, Hiyahyah's team "Get off my D" set out to win-trade past the tie so that Zarrac couldn't get the title.
"Get off my D" was a bit more original with their win-trading. In order to break the tie, Hiyahyah's alt Priest created a new team to feed the team "Cereal Business" to higher MMR . They fed "Cereal Business" 8 times before disbanding the team and using "Cereal Business" to win-trade with their own main team 8 times as well .
While "Get off my D" didn't get the title, they did succeed in disrupting the tie. After the tie was broken by them in the final 2 hours before servers shut down, Retaliation 5s turned into a free-for-all. All the top teams faced off against each other, but "saized" came out on top.
US Ruin 3v3:
"Chasing Tail": [M] Vileroze, [L] Imbald, [D] Shouri, [S] Razzlin, [W] Giantz
Ruin is actually one of two battlegroups to go without any tying or shady tactics. "Chasing Tail" was formed shortly after Vileroze, Imbald, and Razzlin qualified on this year's Arena Tournament Realm. They quickly grabbed rank 1, which was previously at 2860 and then proceeded to farm all the way up to 3100. The team got to an all time high of 3128 before deliberately tanking the team rating to 3059 so that Giantz could be within PR range, where it was still 200 rating above the R2 team at the end of the season.
US Ruin 5v5:
"Guido Stompers": [Pa] Davepropally, [Pr] Ryzoh, [S] Gìzzmø, [L] Draen, [H] Tassy
Not much to tell here, besides that Draen takes this 5v5 far too seriously. Draen has been quoted many times in the past saying that 5v5 is the most balanced bracket. "Guido Stompers" cared more about 5v5 than anyone else and got the title because of it.
US Shadowburn 3v3:
"Ha Ha": [W] Xanadue, [H] Unum, [Pa] Adamz, [L] Jessicajung, [S] Cutemeatball
Legitimate team with a despicable comp.
US Shadowburn 5v5:
"cya stingray": [Pa] Xoruk, [Pr] Zunniyakix, [S] Tonydattiger, [L] Cheerrios, [M] Nobodyseven, [R] Laserfeet
"myfreecams ft lowerping": [Pa] Turbovrgn (Jvlol), [Pr] Mouzi, [S] Nârb, [L] Thugonomics, [M] Jamageqt
Legitimate tie (lol).
US Stormstrike 3v3:
"doing veevs job": [M] Vileroze, [L] Imbald, [S] Fadezzlol, [Pr] Talbadar, [D] Ei (Diziet)
"doing veevs job": [M] Vileroze, [L] Imbald, [S] Fadezzlol, [Pr] Talbadar, [D] Ei (Diziet)
Stormstrike is the second of the two battlegroups that didn't participate in any tying or shady tactics. With a month left in the season, the five characters listed above transfer to Mal'ganis to take R1 from Billian. They played primarily Shatterplay and LSD, and they managed to take R1 and hit 3k with Vileroze in full furious gear and T1 weapon. Billian, having not queued in literally 5 months, decides not to embarass himself in 3s and turns all his attention to the 5v5 bracket for the remainder of the season.
US Stormstrike 5v5:
"Dont Kill Comfort": [Pa] Purplemonger, [Pr] Kras, [S] Revai, [L] Dpsonroids, [H] Magnifibeast
Other Team of Interest:
"Fav Five": [Pr] Billian, [S] Fadezzlol, [L] Babyviction (Convictionz), [M] Abni, [R] Rexsteele
"Dont Kill Comfort" holds R1 until the last 2 weeks of the season. Enter 'Benedict Fadezz'. This is the shaman that played on "doing veevs job" to pass Billian in R1. However, he turns his back on his 3s team and proceeds to help Billian to rank 1 in the 5v5 bracket, much like Benedict Arnold turned his back on his country to help the British. Billian's team "Fav Five" takes R1 with the help of Benedict Fadezz, but faces "Dont Kill Comfort" and loses in the last hour before servers shut down.
There aren't enough queues left for Billian to catch up before the season ends and Billian loses his Wrathful Gladiator title, but not before posting a blog on gameriot congratulating himself on his impending R1 title just a few hours before. Unfortunately, Billian and his mindless minions spam reported all the screenshots taken of his blog that I have access to, so I can't link any here.
On a related note, on the final game ("Dont Kill Comfort" vs "Fav Five") Billian forgot to shield Rexsteele as he was running in for the opener, so Rexsteele got knocked out of stealth by consecrate before being blown up in a rather quick fashion. Billian's team is also attempting to spread some nonsense about Abn being packet spammed as the game started, causing Abn to lag out. This is Billian's desperate move to get "Dont Kill Comfort" reset and save face from his blog.
Stay Small Stay Second Billian.
US Vengeance 3v3:
"BOOYAKASHA": [R] Adieu, [L] ßó, [S] Amoxa (Ooi)
"WLD heh": [W] Hoodrychx, [L] Narcotikz, [D] Vorrentk
The Prince of Qatar, previously known in-game as Ooi and now as Amoxa, has been up to his nefarious ways yet again this season. When something doesn't go his way, he simply tosses money at it until the problem is solved. I fully expect his customary death threats after he discovers this portion of the blog.
Ooi purchased the Adieu, ßó, Hoodrychx, and Narcotikz (the rogue and lock from "BOOYAKASHA" and the warrior and lock from "WLD heh"), transferred them over to Korgath alliance, and paid Benys, Outplayedz, Hoodrch, and Nadagast respectively to play on them. He then proceeded to wintrade "WLD heh" up using his other characters early on in the season (when he was paying Pookz and Azael or Yog to play with him iirc) . They did this 4 times for 55 points.
Ooi then paid Hobbz the paladin (Johncasey-Korgath at the time), Unumz, and Getnerded to win-trade with him both as 3v3 and 3v1 19 times for a total of 202 points . Let us not forget that it was Getnerded and Hobbz who win-traded with Uck on the Arena Tournament Realm as well but for free; this time they got paid to do so.
Finally, Ooi paid the team "Guabantailoe" to wintrade 6 times with his "WLD heh" team and then 1 week later 6 games as well to his "BOOYAKASHA" team, so that his two teams could tie up at 2950 which he camped till season end.
US Vengeance 5v5:
"WE ARE THE FIVE FX": [Pa] Athlete, [Pr] Patz, [S] Mappi, [M] Lipstickx, [W] Jeego
Athlete's team broke the Vengeance 5s tie on the final night and then proceeded to beat the now-R3 team three times in order to secure it at season end. There's an unconfirmed rumor going around, though, that "WE ARE THE FIVE FX" couldn't actually find a 1 pointer to initially break the tie, so they got a 3 point team on their server to queue into them in order to start the free-for-all. Regardless, props for breaking the tie.
US Vindication 3v3:
"Is This Real Life": [S] Gynx, [Pr] Lichard, [S] Burnjob
"Thank You HTT": [W] Qtkisseszxoxo, [H] Vecs, [Pa] Ruiko
Vecs (who had hovered between 2700 and 2800 all season long) mysteriously catches Burnjob on the final night and the two teams tie up for season end; it's unclear on exactly how this was done. What's most disappointing though is that Gynx, the awful shaman who put out terrible videos of his comp, and Lichard managed to be carried by their braindead comp to a rank one title.
US Vindication 5v5:
"hella many points": [R] Ohnoes, [M] Vileroze, [P] Hawtstuffs, [L] Shinaniganz, [S] Kollektiv
"survival of the illest": [Pa] Conniechung, [Pr] Repaire, [S] Davechill, [M] Cluelessly (Icefoxx), [W] Igra
Other Team of Interest:
"Gym Eat WoW": [Pa] Emiily, [S] Showtek, [L] Fearbomb, [M] Unchoppable, [D] Chalo
Team "survival of the illest" held rank 1 on Vindication 5s for the majority of the season. Hand, their warrior, got bored of the game though and sold his warrior. So when Vileroze and I formed "hella many points" with Kollektiv's 3s team on Vindication, they had no warrior to catch back up when they were passed. Their solution was to let Hand play on Igra, a shadowmourne warrior on their server. Hand got bored with the game started using the gcd hack in both PvE and arena for fun. "survival of the illest" thus managed to climb back up and tie with our team, "hella many points".
"Gym Eat WoW" blatantly win-traded with their guildies at 3am server for 3 straight hours and 73 total points .
"Gym Eat WoW" then threatened to feed someone else past everyone if anyone dared break the tie. Fortunately, it seems as if Blizzard has already reset this team.
As a team ("hella many points"), we decided not to tie with one wintrading team and another account sharing, gcd hacking team. It's the Vileroze policy: do not negotiate with terrorists. Ohnoes promised he would queue in the last few minutes of the season for the previous 3 days in a row, but never actually had any intention of doing so.
I called Ohnoes 30 minutes prior to server shut downs and told him that the team "Gym Eat WoW" passed them and that we had to queue. Kollektiv even doctored a screenshot to collaborate what I told Ohnoes, but when Ohnoes logged on he discovered otherwise he immediately logged off and turned off his cell phone. Ohnoes is now without any partners for Cataclysm.
US Whirlwind 3v3:
"wats a goon to a goblin": [M] Champyz, [L] Substantial (Rithz), [S] Voodoomoose, [R] Rensy
"Stay Irrelevant": [D] Rooftrellenx, [Pr] Paimei (Jordons), [W] Bebojones
Sup guys. Champyz again, shady as usual. Champyz accepts $300 from Gymped as payment to purposely lose a game to them so that both teams can tie up at 2923 for the title. Oh ya, Jordons (same idiot from reckoning 5s) strikes again here too; this time he tries his hand at win-trading by payment. GJ, way to vary it up.
US Whirlwind 5v5:
"LowerPing Dot Com": [Pa] Iso, [S] Kyma, [L] Wafu, [M] Siphr, [D] Rooftrellenx
"U Cant MS Shexual Healin": [Pa] Tayrm, [P] Jordons, [S] Perrymvp, [L] Instability, [H] Rcee
"patz owes us money": [Pa] Sallicex, [Pr] Sodahxx, [S] Cirranis, [L] Uckingshirex, [W] Johnburnsx
I have no information on team "LowerPing Dot Com" or team "U Cant MS Shexual Healin", but Jordons is on the latter so it wouldn't be a far stretch of the imagination to conclude something shady probably happened there.
Team "patz owes us money" is actually a R1 sell that both account shared and win-traded to obtain the title and their payment. Sallice is the paladin, Sodah the priest, Cirranis the shaman, Uck on lock until he quit with Azael to finish it off, and Czm playing on the warrior that bought the title. I won't mention the site that sold this title, because I wouldn't want them to profit from this, but the site paid for 5 characters with high MMR's to xfer over to the BG and then win-trade with "patz owes us money" for 16 games (sometimes 5v1 and sometimes 5v5) totalling 111 rating until they reached the tie .
Who is the Ultimate Wrathful Scumbag?
Anyways, hope you learned something about the arena ladder system this season. +1 this blog if you did and be sure to start reporting all them shady people out there.
