The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. Yes, I blame the people who were so in a rush to elect him and make history by electing the first Black man to the presidency. Well look what they have accomplished. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president. The sad part is he's only been in office one year. I can't imagine what the next three will bring

Now I am a Professor in one of New York Cities great Universities. I may not be a rocket scientist, but I like to think that I am well-versed in American Politics. I've been to the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Central America, and pretty much all over Asia . And I’m sorry to say that many of the people I met all over the world were pretty much more informed about American politics than most Americans.
