The HRIM course program offers a competitive and industry-based curriculum that provides the students with world-class competence and positive work values needed to meet the demands of the changing industry and global environment. HRIM comes with complete and updated kitchen laboratories, well-appointed mini-hotel, function room and bar facilities, air-conditioned classroom, library and multimedia services.

The program also provides the students with practical alternative learning experiences through various skills development activities, seminars, tours/field trips. Also offered are Inter-island vessel training under the Apprenticeship by Experience Program and Singapore-based training under the International Practicum Training Program.

Goals & Objectives

  1. To promote and strengthen the quality of hospitality education and skills development program to attain international competitiveness.
  2. To focus on competency-based education and skills development on meeting the changing demands of the industry and the global environment.
  3. To inculcate desirable values through the development of  moral character with emphasis on work ethic, self-discipline and self-reliance.
