Kathy Henderson has written dozens of picture books and has also illustrated many too. She has been shortlisted for and won many awards. 15 Ways to go to Bed was shortlisted for the Smarties Prize, The Little Boat, (illustrated by Patrick Benson) was shortlisted for the Smarties Prize, won the Kurt Maschler Award, and was Highly Commended in the Kate Greenaway Medal.The Storm was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal and A Year in the City (illustrated by Paul Howard) won the Primary English Award for Best Children’s Picture Book. Kathy lives in London and Dog Story is her first picture book for Bloomsbury.
