Crooked Rain, Crooked Rainby Pavement

Pavement's second full-length was less quirky and diffuse than their first and even yielded their career's only modest hit, "Cut Your Hair." Best of all, sweetly catchy songs such as "Gold Soundz" and "Range Life" showed that Pavement were more than just smirky indie rockers.

Sgt. Pepper at #1 is the perfect. I just about completely agree with the top 10. Overall, the list is decent. Although, I would have included something by the Moody Blues on the list. I love seeing the Beatles on the top charts. It just makes me happy to see that people still like and care about them.

The top albums are good. Gets silly after a while, though. The inclusion of John Coltrane and Miles Davis begs the question why other jazz albums aren't here; hundreds would be better than anything by, say, Elton John or Prince.
