The Saints remain as the top choice, but the Steelers are starting to look like a Super Bowl contender. It will be interesting to see how the Saints deal with the loss of RB Reggie Bush likely for at least six weeks. They could become even more of a passing offense. Don't look now, but the Texans might be for real. Once they get LB Brian Cushing back from his four-game suspension, the Texans could make a serious run for the AFC South for the first time since their inception in 2002.

On the bottom, well, it's the Bills. Did you expect any less? I'd rather have a root canal than watch their offense. It's like they are operating in plastic.

They aren't blowing teams out like usual, but the Saints are still able to win close games. There is no reason to move them from the top spot at this point. The loss of RB Reggie Bush for at least six weeks could be a big issue, though.

We'll get a better idea of how good this team is on Monday night when they play at the divisional rival Bears, but they are clearly the favorite to win the NFC North. The loss of starting RB Ryan Grant could become an issue going forward, but Brandon Jackson will get another chance to prove he was worth selecting in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. What an unbelievable road win at Washington. They really had no business winning that game, but give them credit for an amazing comeback. We'll see how good their defense really is at home this week against the talented Dallas offense.

Say what you want about this team, but they have to be the favorite to win the AFC South again. Their victory over the Giants last week was a masterpiece on both sides of the ball. It will be interesting to see if the Broncos can give them a game this week.

That was quite a bounce back performance from QB Mark Sanchez against the Patriots. But finding consistency is still an issue for the second-year signal caller. Now he'll have to get it done on the road at Miami against the suddenly improved Dolphin defense.

Maybe they do actually have a pass rush. They might be on to something with CFL-refugee OLB Cameron Wake. The guy can get off the edge quickly. If Miami can get its passing game going, it might be in the playoff picture.
