Holiday Tales: "A Slay Ride with Santa"

Ho, ho, ho-kay, Groovesters! It's time for our first Holiday Tale of the season. This little treasure comes to us by way of DC's Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion #15 (November/December, 1973) via the titanic talents of Macabre Michael Fleisher (author) and Diabolical Dan Green (artist). "A Slay Ride with Santa" just goes to show what happens when you hang around with Santa. (I know an elf with a gun is gonna come knockin' on my door to make me pay for that pun! To make up for it, how 'bout Ol' Groove tosses in the scintillatin' Howard Chaykin splash page that leads into our terrifying tale?)

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
