Cake decorators in London joined in on the Halloween spirit baking horror-themed designs, including mutilated body parts and a flattened badger.

Creative director, Emma Thomas gave food architects a brief to create '18+' cakes.

She says, 'adults want cakes that are a bit dirty, and a bit strange and a bit alarming. So we wanted to give the public something that was genuinely completely different from what they'd had before.'

Cake designs ranged from mutilated genitalia to a road kill badger complete with tyre marks, glowing eyes and hanging guts.
