Could you be testosterone deficient?

This tool is designed to assess whether or not men aged 50 years or more are likely to be testosterone deficient. Many of the symptoms of testosterone deficiency are related to a man's quality of life (e.g. emotional disorders such as depression and reduced wellbeing) and physical functioning (e.g. reduced physical strength and sexual performance). The questionnaire therefore asks men about various aspects of their physical and emotional health in order to determine if the man is or is not likely to be testosterone deficient.

It is important for men to be aware that the questionnaire is not a diagnostic tool, that is, it cannot be used alone to diagnose testosterone deficiency. However, the results of the questionnaire will help the doctor determine whether or not it is necessary to undertake blood tests (and possibly other tests) for testosterone deficiency. Once you have completed the questionnaire, print the results and take them to your next doctor's appointment.
