Wiltshire College Salisbury has attractive buildings in the beautiful town of Salisbury . The School of Photography, Film and Television at Wiltshire College Salisbury has over 50 years of experience in educating photographers and film-makers. Through its extensive network of contacts, an environment is provided that simulates the real demands of these professions.
The college has an exceptional record of competition successes both at national and international level. The Industry standard facilities include five studios, a sound studio, B&W and colour processing laboratories, IT suite and video and film editing facilities. Degree Centre Weymouth has an attractive, modern and particularly well resourced campus in the coastal resort of Weymouth. It has been a centre for pioneering innovative media courses over the past fifteen years. The Media Centre is well resourced for studio based and location work. Video production, including community and corporate video, is a particular strength and is taught alongside multimedia and web based production.
The Music Department is self-contained in spacious new accommodation, with five fully equipped performance studios, music technology rooms, practice facilities and recording studio. Set in the stunning Somerset countryside, University College Yeovil is an exciting place to live and study. The campus contains a 100 seat lecture theatre, eight teaching rooms seating between 12 and 30 students, an Apple Mac design suite, two state of the art PC suites and an open study area with ample IT access and café area.
This is backed up by the resources of nearby Yeovil College including an extensive library, fitness centre and sports hall. In September 2007 UCY launched a further £1 million development to extend the teaching and support facilities available to students by developing the upstairs facilities within the building.
