where do u go to download the cataclysm beta

OMG how i found this post is beyond me but it was perfect.. i had an attack from malware that disabled my firewal and my IE and couldn't figure it out eventually my firewalla came back on after a few weeks of nothing being able to turn it on but the ie i never used anyways but this fixed ie thanks alot man!

After doing everything you said i could start patching agian, after downloading like 3 newer patches i got to one that I'm now stuck on. right before it would finish i get this error message....

I've actually run the repair tool multiple times and it hasn't changed anything. Any suggestions as to what i could do or possible fixes would be greatly appreciated thanks

hey i just got a new computer and im trying to download the wow pc client to install wow so i can play, but it wont let me download it, do you know wat i can do ?

from blizzards own support site :

click on the connections tab in the Internet properties window, then the LAN Settings button, and make sure that the "Automatically detect settings" checkbox and the "Use a Proxy server" checkbox is NOT selected. If either of these are selected, please un-check these boxes and then click OK to save changes, and try the connection to the game after this.

I had issues with patching, uninstalled, and the downloader wouldn't work...until I tried this! :D It's downloading right now. And I use Firefox, too, but fixing IE fixed my problem. :)

T5his is so frustrating guys first the news server thingy wasn't working now I am having a hard time with my Blizzard downloader it is strange I have never had problems with this before. I have tried manually putting in the spicific ports and then I tried what you said to do with steps 1-3 and it still says that it is not green but yellow and and the blizzard downlaoder is still not working. Is there anyone who can help me please?

YES! I love you. Fixing Internet Explorer let me use the iTunes store now, plus I can play WoW on my laptop. :D :D :D
