Arizona State missed out on the postseason for the third consecutive season, but there is hope and momentum for 2011.

The Sun Devils, after some painfully close losses—including one-point setbacks at Wisconsin and USC—finished with victories over UCLA and rival Arizona in double overtime.

Arizona State, which often started only one senior on offense and defense, finished 6-6 overall and 4-5 in the Pac-10, tied for fifth. The Sun Devils didn't qualify for the postseason because two of their victories were against Football Championship Subdivision teams—only one counts toward bowl eligibility.
