This SeeThroughNY section provides a database of names, positions and salaries or pension benefit rates for individuals who have been employed by New York State, New York City, state and regional public authorities, public school districts, and New York's county, city, town and village governments.  Use the form below to search the payrolls or pensions by Name, Position, Branch or Major Category, Agency or Area and Subagency or Employer.

  

Notes:

(1) "Pay Year" represents the latest year for which salary data is provided.  When the data cover a budgeting period that crossed two years, the final year is listed; for example, education salaries for the 2008-09 school year are assigned a "Pay Year" of 2009, while data for the 2007-08 school year are assigned to 2008.  For the date range specific to each data set, see data notes.

(2) Search results are presented in groups of 20.  Results can be sorted in alphabetical or numerical order by clicking on the column heading. The number of results presented on a page can be expanded by adjusting the number in the "Results per Page" box at the bottom of the search form.  Click symbols at bottom left of search results box to download results in the form of an Excel ("xls") spreadsheet or Comma Separated Values ("csv") file.
