As BigPond Sport first reported at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, Trading Post has announced a platinum partnership with Ford Performance Racing.
The major partnership, which runs to the end of 2012, will see the #6 car run in orange livery and will be known as the Trading Post FPR Falcon.
An announcement will be made in the future on the driver of the #6 Trading Post FPR Falcon.
The #6 Trading Post FPR Falcon first hits the track on January 28, 2011 at Eastern Creek Raceway in New South Wales, when teams hold their first public test session.
FPRs Business Operations Director, Mark Roworth, said the partnership with a blue chip sponsor allows the team to reach a new legion of fans in Trading Post users.
“In turn, we aim to further the public’s awareness and knowledge of the Trading Post product and brand and strongly believe that our new relationship will help drive business growth across the Trading Post business,” he said.
Head of Telstra Classifieds, Michael Padden, said the arrangement puts Trading Post’s ongoing commitment to support the sport into overdrive.
“Trading Post is one of Australia’s favourite places to buy and sell cars and almost anything else,” he said.
“Our association with FPR and the V8 series is a great fit with our customer base and Trading Post customers can look forward seeing their car burn up the track with FPR next year.”
