Two proposals received on Alaskan Way

The Alaska Department of Transportation is evaluating two proposals from private consortia on the US$4bn-plus Alaskan Way Viaduct project that involves the construction of a double-decker tunnel underground. Both bids to design and build the bored tunnel are at or below the contract price limit.
