kanye-west-ny-runaway-pr.jpgKanye West goes on a national telethon to help the victims of Hurrican Katrina and states, "George W. Bush doesn't care about black people." Kanye West storms the stage on the MTV Video Music Awards and grabs the microphone from Taylor Swift, saying her award should have gone to Beyonce instead.

To Kanye West's mind, rather than being the pivotal player without whom neither of these media moments would have taken place, they both go to show how he and the former president have both been accused of racism when really they're merely misunderstood.

The scab over the West's comments about Bush wound got ripped off in Bush's upcoming book "Decision Points" and next week's interview with Matt Lauer, where Bush calls being criticized by the singer as "one of the most disgusting moments in my presidency."

"Gulliver's Travels" has been adapted for movies or television at least a half-dozen times over the years, and it's headed to the big screen again in December with a contemporary twist.

Jack Black stars in the new version of Jonathan Swift's 18th-century satire as a guy whose travel writing assignment goes horribly wrong and lands him in the land of Lilliput, whose tiny residents first capture and then come to revere him. It also stars Emily Blunt, Jason Segel and Amanda Peet.

mcrib.jpgSo we noticed on our Facebook feeds yesterday (Tuesday, Nov. 2) that keeping pace with all our friends proudly telling us that they did their civic duty and voted -- whether they actually did or not -- there was a whole lot of bragging going on about scoring the first McRibs of the season.

Now that she's not "Dancing with the Stars" and on a break from basically running the law office as Teri in Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva," actress and comedienne Margaret Cho has been touring with her comic music album, "Cho Dependent," and she's just released the music video for "Lice."

"I wrote this song with Ben Lee who I absolutely worship," says Cho on her website. "He helped me so much with the album and I can never thank him enough."

The adorable Australian indie pop singer, Ben Lee, is in the background consulting a human-sized louse, who apparently has some talent on the harmonica. Sneaky little creatures.
