About

AFL Schools

The Australian Football League is committed to providing primary and secondary schools with exciting and engaging curriculum resources that bring our great game into the classroom.

This section currently contains a number of curriculum resources including AFL Our National Game, AFL Sport Education and AFL Senior Secondary. Each of these resources is themed on Australian football and caters for students in primary and secondary years across all key learning areas. Also the AFL has a national health and well being program, 1seven.

A brief overview of each resource is provided in the resource section of the schools website to give teachers an insight into the resource and how it maybe incorporated into the schools curriculum framework. All resources are accessible online and many come in CD-ROM format.

In addition to the current resources, the Australian Football League in 2008 launched two new curriculum resources for primary and secondary schools - It's More Than A Game and You Can Kick Goals.

Please continue to visit the site for the latest updates on curriculum resource developments.
