Manchester City to be subject of TV documentary? | Print |  Email to a friend
Monday, 25 January 2010

It seems like the seeds that were sown by Endemol's agreement with Premiership club Manchester City could be set to bear televisual fruit... if the Daily Mail is to be believed that is.

It seems like the seeds that were sown by Endemol's agreement with Premiership club Manchester City could be set to bear televisual fruit... if the Daily Mail is to be believed that is.
Access all areas for Endemol?
The paper's sports columnist Charlie Sale notes today that Big Brother creator Endemol has been given "special access at Manchester City" for a TV programme that will chart the changes at the big-spending club since its takeover by the Abu Dhabi group.

If the rumour is correct it will be the first TV project for the production firm's sports division since it signed a deal to help build the Man City brand across the globe.

This has already seen Endemol Sport unveil the team's new website, which it currently maintains alongside an in-house production unit at the City of Manchester stadium.

At the time of announcing the deal it was stated that the development of TV ideas would be one of the key brand builders for the club going forwards.

If the mooted City documentary wins over an international fan-base more projects can be expected to follow quickly on its heels.
