Scotland's Census 2001 - Statistics on Travel to Work or Study

This paper presents information from the 2001 Census on the characteristics of people in Scotland who travelled to a place of work or study.� Most of the information is provided at local authority level, with comparisons being made between people living in an area and people working or studying there.� The paper also contains analyses of people travelling between urban and rural areas and, in addition, those travelling to places of work or study in Scotland�s four largest cities.
