Murray State Defeats Stanford in 76 Classic

A pair of clutch free throws by B.J. Jenkins sealed Murray State's 55-52 victory over Stanford in the first round of the 76 Classic.

Jenkins led the Racers (3-1) with 15 points on 5-9 shooting, including 2-3 from long range. Isaiah Canaan added 8 points and Ivan Aska chipped in 7 for Murray State.

Dwight Powell led Stanford (3-1) with a game-high 16 points. Josh Owens scored 10.

The Racers led by as many as 14 points in the first half and held on for the win.
