Linkin Park shoots for the stars in 'Waiting for the End' video: Watch here

This morning Linkin Park debuted the video for their their latest single, “Waiting for the End.” Almost like peering through a telescope at the stars, the band appears in the clip as starry, living constellations. Each member’s stars light up and twitch as they perform the reflective rock cut. Deers, rabbits, and dinosaur heads morph into each other throughout as well. It’s an abstract video. All I can gather of it is that their within a machine of some sort. But hey, your guess is as good as mine.

What do you make of the “Waiting for the End” video? The song doesn’t really scream, “Rage against the machine!” Are they dying slowly inside it? Let us (me) know. Watch the video after the jump.

I could have sworn I saw a set of fallopian tubes in that video. (1:06)

    Hooray, anatomy!

    Their new album is dreadful.

Matter of opinion. I absolutely loved it.

Agreed – after seeing them live a few weeks ago, I finally started warming up to it…now it’s running on loop.

I’m a fan since Hybrid Theory and hated Minutes to Midnight (at first). I was accustomed to their original style and when it changed I didn’t want to accept it. Then I gave M2M a chance and within a week I loved/knew every single song by heart. The same is slowly happening with A Thousand Suns; as I already play a few songs on loop. If fans weren’t so stubborn they could realize how great the new LP is. They’ll be in my playlist ’till the day I die and I’m glad they’re making the music they want to make, despite everyone calling them sellouts. :)

Well said Dave. True fans will give the album a chance and find that every song is actually great. Minutes to Midnight was my least favorite too but was still a good album.

Huge fan of LP, I mean HYOOGE. But I’ve never been a fan of their mediocre videos. This one’s kiiiiind of refreshing.

I have always loved their music. But this song really has meaning to me since I have cancer it really hits home for me.

From the first time I heard the new album THIS song jumped out to me. I was hoping for a MEGA END OF THE WORLD savior kind of video but this will do. I guess there is just not as much $$$$ available to make blockbuster videos anymore. All this to say I am really liking “SUNS” just about 2 track away from putting it up they with their first 2 albums though.
