Fashion Spotlight: Torn by Ronny Kobo
December 05, 2010
In 2008 Ronny Kobo pulled off something that we all thought was impossible—she made wolf T-shirts stylish. Up until her collection, wolf tees were only worn by those who also owned dream catchers. After the huge success of her T-shirt line, Kobo decided to create an entire collection, this time wolf-free, including dresses, skirts, jackets, and blouses—with stellar results! Gaining fans such as Audrina Patridge, Blake Lively, Hilary Duff, and Leighton Meester, Torn by Ronny Kobo officially has the fashionista seal of approval.
('’)Kobo was born in Israel, raised in Hong Kong, and currently lives in both New York and London. Inspired by her international travels and love for safaris, her collections are big on prints and playful, long-sleeve mini-dresses. The transition from T-shirts to a ready-to-wear was, as Kobo puts it, “natural.” Anyone who can make the wolf tee cool has serious talent.
