Higher Education Wales (HEW) represents the interests of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Wales and is a National Council of Universities UK.
HEW membership encompasses all the heads of the universities and higher education institutions in Wales. HEW provides an expert resource on all aspects of higher education in Wales to the many interested stakeholders, including Assembly Members and Welsh MPs, the Welsh and UK media, students, staff, business leaders and industrial entrepreneurs.
HEW promotes and supports higher education in Wales, representing the interests of its members to the National Assembly, to Parliament, political parties, European institutions and bodies, and negotiates on behalf of Welsh higher education.
