HOW TO FIND US:

By Coach & Car:
From the South - M11 to Junction 14, then turn east along the A14 dual carriageway:
From the North - A14 from Huntingdon, then turn east along the A14 dual carriage way:

Then exit the A14 at the fourth junction (situated east of Cambridge), up the slip road to the roundabout (signposted Stow-Cum-Quy). Turn riht onto the A1303, and return westwards towards Cambridge. Go straight over the first roundabout, passing Marshall Airport to the left. Go straight over two sets of traffic lights to a roundabout. The Ground's floodlights can be seen from here and McDonald's is on the right.

Turn left onto the ring road. Turn right at the first roundabout (a large Sainsbury's is on the left here), and go along Coldham's Lane. After half a mile, immediately after the traffic lights (at the Greyhound Public House) turn right into Coldham's Road before the railway bridge.

Parking is available on the left-hand side of the road for coaches only.

The Greene King IPA Main Stand

Coaches: Coach operators are asked to assist by observing the following:

Coaches must adhere to the route, and not drive past the front of the ground unless arrangements have been made at least 24 hours prior to a fixture with Cambridgeshire Police and Cambridge United FC to enable any disabled, elderly, and supporters with mobility problems to be dropped off at the main entrance

Coaches should arrive at the parking area by the route directed no earlier than two hours and not later than 3/4 hour before the kick-off.

Coach drivers will be required to turn off the vehicle's engine when the coach is stationary in order to limit noise disturbance and fumes.

Coaches should not stop within 10 miles of Cambridge, nor at any premises where intoxicatings liquor is sold.

Departure should normally be within 30 minutes of the final whistle.

By Bus: A Citibus C3 bus stops within a few yards of the ground (Ditton Walk stop) and runs from the Railway Station and through the city centre every ten minutes during the day, and at longer intervals in the evenings. Check the Stagecoach website for more details and a Citi 3 timetable.

By Train: There are regular services to and from Cambridge Railway Station, where taxis are available or the Citibus C3 service runs from the station every ten minutes during the day and at longer intervals in the evenings. Check the Stagecoach website for more details and a Citi 3 timetable.

To walk from the railway station to the ground could take 25-30 minutes. Walk away from the station along Station Road and take the first right, (Tenison Road). Take the first right again, (Devonshire Road), follow this round to the left, up to the next junction. Turn right - again - onto Mill Road. Walk over the railway bridge, then take the third left, (Sedgewick Street). Follow this road, pass a set of traffic calming barriers, and shops (at this point you are in Cromwell Road) to a T-junction, (Coldham's Lane). Ahead of you should be a large field (Coldham's Common). Go into this field and follow a path under the railway bridge to the away turnstiles.

Food and Drink: A selection of food and drinks is available at the tea bars inside the ground, including our award-winning bacon rolls. Next to the ground, the Supporters Club (owned and operated separately from the Football Club) is usually open to all supporters and serves a variety of hot and cold food and reasonably priced drinks. Entry to non-members is £1.
'Mr Chippy' on Newmarket Road is a few minutes walk in the direction of the city centre (turning left from the front of the ground). Ten minutes walk in the other direction is a McDonalds.

The South Stand

AT THE GROUND:

The official Traffic Management Plan provides important information for coach operators with directions and a map for coaches to the coach parking area and directions and a map for supporters on foot from the coach park to the ground. It also provides arrangements for access for traffic and pedestrians to the stadium on match days. Click here to read/print this information in a new window (PDF file).

ALL supporters should be aware of the pedestrian section of the Cambridge United Traffic Management Plan:
Pedestrians will be permitted to access the Stadium site via any of the access points subject to their being open and stewarded. Pedestrians must have the appropriate tickets for the area of the stadium entered.
Cambridge United Football Club has management boards displayed at all exits advising spectators to use the pedestrian crossing on Newmarket Road and Coldhams Lane when leaving the Stadium.
Signage is also displayed on the North Terrace exit roadway directing supporters to the pedestrian crossings.

Away supporters:

For most games, away fans will be accommodated in the all-seater South Stand (pictured below), which was built on the site of the old South Terrace during the 2001-2002 season. To get there from the Greyhound pub, simply follow the path across Coldham's Common and use the 'South Stand' turnstiles.

Alternatively, if you are approaching the ground from the front along Newmarket Road, take the footpath just to the town side of the ground, along the back of the Habbin Stand to the 'South Stand' turnstiles.

For selected games (see the Tickets News page for details about specific forthcoming matches), away fans may be accommodated in the southern end of the Habbin Terrace.

The Habbin South is adjacent to the South Stand and the directions are the same as those above, but use the 'Habbin South' turnstiles instead.
