Aaron Heslehurst

aaron_heslehurstAaron Heslehurst presents the business news on BBC Breakfast and the BBC News channel in the absence of Simon Jack. He also regularly presents World Business Report on BBC World News and occasionally fills in on the BBC News channel's afternoon business coverage.

Aaron began regularly appearing on BBC Breakfast in early 2008. He has worked for BBC World since 2002, often presenting its flagship business programme World Business Report. Prior to this he was a news anchor for CNBC Nordic, who he joined in 2000.

David Dimbleby

David DimblebyDavid Dimbleby is a major presenter of current affairs programmes and documentaries for BBC television.

He has presented the BBC's general election programmes since 1979 as well as US presidential election programmes and Budget coverage. He has chaired BBC One's Question Time since January 1994.

David Dimbleby joined the BBC as a news reporter in Bristol after leaving university and appeared in network programmes from 1962. During his BBC career he has presented Panorama, 24 Hours, People and Power, The Dimbleby Talk-In and This Week Next Week.

Evan Davis

Evan DavisEvan Davis is a presenter of the BBC Radio 4 Today programme, a role he took up in April 2008.

He is also well-known as the presenter of the BBC Two business reality show Dragons' Den. And on Radio 4, he also presents a weekly business discussion programme, The Bottom Line.

For the six-and-a-half years prior to working on the Today programme, Evan was the BBC's Economics Editor, the most senior economics reporter in the corporation.

Fiona Bruce

Fiona BruceFiona Bruce is a presenter on the BBC Ten O'Clock News and the Six O'Clock News. She also presents Antiques Roadshow for BBC One.

Her recent projects have included a special documentary on Cherie Blair for BBC One and an exclusive interview with Bill Gates as he stood down as head of Microsoft for a special hour-long edition of The Money Programme on BBC Two.

Fiona presented Crimewatch for eight years until December 2007. She also presented the BBC One current affairs strand Real Story With Fiona Bruce for four years, as well as making hour-long special documentaries for BBC One.

Gavin Esler

Gavin EslerGavin Esler joined the presenting team of BBC Two's Newsnight in January 2003.

Gavin has anchored the BBC News Channel (formerly BBC News 24) since 1997 and reported for news and documentary programmes across Europe, Russia, China and North and South America.

He began his career as a reporter on the Belfast Telegraph. 

He joined BBC Television as Northern Ireland reporter and then BBC Two's Newsnight as a reporter/presenter. 

George Alagiah

George AlagiahGeorge Alagiah presents GMT with George Alagiah at 12.00GMT Mondays to Fridays on BBC World News. GMT with George Alagiah features breaking news and updates on global events, in-depth analysis by prominent commentators, and interviews with leading newsmakers and opinion leaders. The programme is targeted to evening viewers in the Asia Pacific region, and early morning viewers based in the east coast of the United States.

Since January 2003, George has presented the domestic BBC's Six O'Clock News. In March 2002, he launched BBC FOUR's international news programme.

Huw Edwards

Huw EdwardsHuw Edwards is known to millions of viewers as main presenter of the BBC News at Ten, Britain's most popular television news bulletin. He moved to the Ten in 2003, after a period presenting the BBC News at Six. 

Huw joined the BBC more than 20 years ago, and has presented a wide range of programmes including Newsnight, Breakfast News and Panorama.

He has co-hosted two General Election results programmes on BBC Radio 4.

He is the BBC's voice at Trooping the Colour, the Festival of Remembrance and the State Opening of Parliament.

Jeremy Paxman

Jeremy PaxmanJeremy Paxman is a senior presenter for the BBC, fronting the nightly news show Newsnight and University Challenge.

Jeremy Paxman was born in Yorkshire in 1950, educated at Malvern College in Worcestershire and received his degree (in English) from St Catharine's College, Cambridge.

For three years in the mid-Seventies, Jeremy Paxman was based in Northern Ireland, where he covered the Troubles for the BBC.

Simon Jack

Simon JackSimon presents the business news from on BBC Breakfast and the BBC News channel throughout the morning. He took on the role in September 2008, following the departure of Declan Curry to BBC Two's Working Lunch.

Prior to this Simon had worked as a business correspondent for BBC News since 2005, working initially for BBC Radio Five, where he had appeared on Wake Up To Money, as well as occasionally presenting news programme Drive. He moved on from this role in 2008, becoming a business correspondent across BBC News, producing reports for the BBC News channel, BBC Radio, BBC World and all of the BBC's National news bulletins. He also began to occasionally read the business on the BBC News Channel.
