Nintendo Power spills the beans on Scribblenauts 2

Given the amount of awards Scribblenauts walked away with at DICE this year, we're not at all surprised to hear there's a sequel due out soon. We were kind of surprised Nintendo didn't build a Game Developers Conference keynote speech around it.

According to secondhand reports from the Nintendo Power article, the Scribblenauts sequel improves on imperfections in the first game as opposed to making any drastic changes to the game design. Directional pad controls are confirmed for Maxwell and there are now 10,000 adjectives as well as some completely new words.

We'll hopefully here more from developer 5TH Cell at the Game Developers Conference during their panel, "5th Cell: From Mobile To Handheld And Beyond" on Tuesday.

Well, they've already got the database, which had to be a large part of the development. Now they can just hone the puzzles, interaction and UI, and they'll have a great game on their hands.

Maybe i'm the only one but i would like to see a Wii version of Scribblenauts. that would be kinda cool.
