Terror threat to state: BSY

December 26th, 2010

Dec. 26: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said on Saturday that officers of Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) have alerted the state government about possible terror attacks between December 31 and January 5.

Addressing an election rally in Bagalkot, he said the top-brass of state home department and police force would meet on December 27 to plan security measures across the state in view of the alert issued by officials of RAW. In addition, security cover would be enhanced at all vital installations ahead of the New Year celebrations.

He charged Congress leaders with protecting anti-national elements and failing to curb terror activities in the country. He opined that the BJP should be brought to power to eliminate terrorism in the country.
