UPDATED 12/10/10: That "gathering of heroes" hinted at in "Collateral" spoilers was actually Hawkman's funeral, and it was in "Icarus." Oops!

Episode #10-13: "Beacon"

February 4, 2011

Written By: Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson
Guest Stars: Allison Mack (Chloe), Annette O'Toole (Martha Kent), John Glover (Lionel Luthor), Lucas Grabeel (Alexander)

UPDATED 12/24/10: There is an interaction between Lionel and Chloe that involves the name "Ms. Sullivan" being used again. Hopefully it'll make it through to the final cut.

UPDATED 12/3/10: Lionel's return to our world doesn't stay unknown for long. Lionel quickly gets back into the swing of things, sharing scenes with Oliver, Martha, and Clark.

- When "Alexander" is found, he will have a full head of hair again. Apparently clones grow it back. Hey, wouldn't that be an easy way to get another past Lex actor back - tell him he doesn't have to shave his head? Hmm...

UPDATED 11/29/10: Lucas Grabeel has Tweeted that he'd soon be shooting another Smallville, and we are assuming that "Beacon" is the episode where this will be happening, although that has not been officially confirmed. Grabeel previously played Young Lex in the Season 6 episode "Reunion."

UPDATED 11/22/10: Annette O'Toole has confirmed on Twitter that she does have scenes with John Glover!

- Annette O'Toole has Tweeted on her "JimmyJindo" account that John Glover is also returning for the episode. Here's what she said: "Thank you everyone who is happy about my doing the Smallville "Beacon" episode. Mr. John Glover is ALSO in this episode. THAT's exciting!"

UPDATED 11/10/10: Writer Don Whitehead Tweeted tonight that he and Holly Henderson will be writing the upcoming episode "Beacon," and that "Chloe, among others" will be in the episode. She could be back as early as "Collateral," though we do not yet have confirmation on that.

Tentative: Feb. 25, 2011

Written By: Al Septien & Turi Meyer
Directed By: Al Septien

UPDATED 11/29/10: Title Posted. Please do not re-post this on other websites without a LINK to the title's source ( and please don't post this immediately after you see it, either. Thanks.
- Al Septien tweeted that he and Turi Meyer are writing episode #16, which will be the last episode to air in a run of episodes in early 2011. After that, only six episodes are left! :(

Episode #10-17: "Booster"

booster goldWritten By: Geoff Johns

UPDATED 12/24/10: "I literally just finished the script before Christmas," Johns revealed in an interview at the Comic Book Resources website.
- He confirmed that it's the Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle that will be teaming up with Booster Gold. "We introduced [this version of the character] back during Infinite Crisis. I always like the chemistry between him and Booster, so when I was going to do this episode, I wanted to do those two together and I think the story that we came up works really well. It’s very Booster 1.0, meaning he’s in the early stages of his career as a hero -- and is pretty self-serving."
- As for what else there is to expect from the episode, Johns says we'll see Blue Beetle's origin, Booster's first meeting with Clark and Lois, and "maybe a cameo by someone from Kord Industries."

UPDATED 12/3/10: Geoff Johns has confirmed on Twitter that he is writing episode #17 of the season and the title of the episode is "Booster."

UPDATED 10/25/10: Geoff Johns' episode will run during the "last third" of the season.

UPDATED 10/8/10: This episode will feature Blue Beetle and Booster Gold.
Geoff Johns revealed at the New York Comic Con that Clark will notice the Legion ring on Booster Gold's finger, and asks if Booster is a Legionnaire. "No, but they're really good friends of mine," Booster tells him.
- Sadly, Brainiac 5 (in "Homecoming") and Booster Gold seem to be the only Legion-related presences scheduled for Season 10.

Episode #10-22: Series Finale

May 2011

UPDATED 12/23/10: So, in only a few months we'll be hitting the end. So far, very little is known about how the series will wrap up; if Darkseid's story ends here, if Lex is returning, any of it... it's all a mystery. Hopefully we'll get some news on a Rosenbaum return. It's probably safe to say, though, that at least one departed early-seasons cast member will be present for the show's finale.
