New Chairman for builders' body

Mumbai April 9

Mr Bhagwan J. Deokar has taken over as Chairman of the Builders Association of India from April 1. He succeeds Mr A.K. Yussuf. Mr Deokar worked as a junior engineer in the Maharashtra Housing Board for two years before started his own firm Rahul Construction Co. He is a founder-member of the Bombay Housing and Area Development Board Contractors' Association. – Our Bureau
