Mr Arvind Vasudeva

Mumbai: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has appointed Mr Arvind Vasudeva as Chief Operating Officer.

Only last month, Mr Vasudeva had resigned as Managing Director of RPG Life Sciences. At Glenmark, he will be responsible for the branded generics business, divided into six regions: India, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Russia/CIS, Africa/Middle East, and Central Eastern Europe, a Glenmark note said.

Glenmark's branded generics business has offices in over 20 countries . Mr Vasudeva will be based in Mumbai, reporting to the Chief Executive and Managing Director, Mr Glenn Saldanha. With 27 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr Vasudeva has in the past worked with Astra-IDL, Dr Reddy's and Wockhardt.
