The first week of lacrosse games are complete with the JV posting 2 wins against Rochester Adams and Saginaw Heritage. The Varsity had a bit tougher time losing to Bloomfield on Sunday and a nail bitter at Rochester Adams but came back home to a big win over Saginaw Heritage. To have a little fun, we had the annual Hugs vs Slugs (Boys vs Girls) game with the JV Hugs destroying the JV Slugs 9-1 and the Varsity squads tied 6-6 meaning the girls retained the trophy for another year.
We have now arrived at the Spring Break time of year. There will be no practice for either squad until Thursday April 7th for those who did NOT go away for break. Times will be posted soon! |

Apologies for the delay to the website update! Account information had to be transfered over and now that all the ducks are in a row, we will be able to update the site on a regular basis.
As you all know, the boys have had tryouts the first half of this week and the team has been selected. The final roster will be posted on this site by weeks end. The coaches would like to congratulate all who made the team and every boy that tried out this year. It was very hard to decide on the final team for the 2011 season for the Varsity as well as the JV squad but we feel that the boys selected will be the best the school has to offer.
The boys are expected to be in the Kiva @ 4:30pm this afternoon for a quick meeting before taking to the practice field which will run until 7:30 PM. There is a mandatory parent meeting this evening, March 17, 8 pm in the Kiva located in the lower level of the high school. There is plenty of information to go over but we plan to have everything wrapped up by 9pm. To finish out the week, there will be practice tomorrow, March 18, followed on Saturday with scrimmages for the Varsity at home and for the JV at Rochester Adams High. We will have no buses for the JV scrimmage so car pooling is suggested and specifics on the scrimmage will be brought up tonight.
