The Northern Burlington County Regional High School’s Choral Department is proud to announce that four students: Aashika Sussendran, Catherine Sabin, Kayla Peterson, and Chelsie Peterson, performed at the 2010 New Jersey All State Choir. They auditioned last April and were selected amongst some of New Jersey's finest singers. Therefore, they were awarded the opportunity to perform at the New Jersey Teachers Convention and at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. We all extend sincere congratulations to these young ladies and wish them continued success.

Northern Burlington Regional High School’s FCCLA group (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) has continued the tradition of Treats for Troops. They asked NBRHS staff and students for names and addresses of deployed friends and relatives so that they could send them home baked cookies.
On Friday, December 3rd, students in the Family Consumer Science classes baked the cookies, and the FCCLA members packaged them to send abroad. Additionally, to give the care packages a special touch, students signed cards and wrote notes to go along with the cookies. Thanks to the FCCLA club and its advisors, Peggy Apice and Heather Duff, the troops are going to get a little taste of home this holiday season.

When the Northern Burlington Varsity Football Team started the 2010 season, Coach Reising had his eye on the prize. Apparently, his varsity football players agreed. And when Tosin Adeyemo rushed for 240 yards and all three Northern Burlington touchdowns in a 21-14 win at Allentown High School, they proudly brought the prize home.
The victory clinched the Colonial Division title in the West Jersey Football League. Northern Burlington finished 3-1 in the division. Congratulations to the players and coaches for this exciting accomplishment. We are all proud!!
Congratulations to Cliff Nanfeldt, a 2009 Northern graduate, who recently received a $1,000 scholarship from the Mr. Tony Lamastra, President of the New Jersey Tooling and Manufacturing Association (far right) and Mr. Bart Townsend, President of Townsend Machine Inc. in Chesterfield. Cliff is in his sophomore year at Pennsylvania College of Technology majoring in manufacturing engineering. When not in school, Cliff works for Townsend Machine in Chesterfield. Cliff’s interest in manufacturing started years ago working for Townsend Machine. He took advantage of the opportunity to take metal classes while at Northern and learned and enjoyed his experiences with Mr. Kavett. Using his skills learned at Northern and experience gained at Townsend Machine, Cliff has a bright future ahead of him in manufacturing.
Ryan Walsh, A Senior Captain of the Varsity Boys Soccer Team, has been honored by the Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey, as an All-State Player.
Coach Tedesco is most proud of Ryan as he reflects on Ryan’s four years at Northern: "It is not just about his performance. It is about his determination and character, and his willingness to always fight for the team."
NBC is extremely proud of all that Ryan has accomplished throughout his four years here at Northern. He has been a true leader and a great teammate. Congratulations and Good Luck as you move on and play at the next level.
