Omarius Hines and Mike Gillislee ran for touchdowns, Chas Henry kicked three second-half field goals, and Ahmad Black scored on an 80-yard interception return to help Florida (8-5) send Meyer out on a winning note.
Urban Meyer went out a winner at Florida as the Gators knocked off Penn State in the coach's final game.The 46-year-old coach resigned last month because of health concerns and to spend more time with his family.
In the week leading up to the game, the legendary Paterno repeatedly shrugged off rumors that the Outback Bowl could be the 84-year-old's last for Penn State (7-6).
