How to subscribe to e-mail newsletters

One of the many ways you can read Poynter.org is through our e-mail newsletters, with a new easy-to-read format and more subscription options than ever before.

If you’re already a subscriber, you should receive your newsletter(s) each weekday. If you are not receiving them, check your spam filter, and make sure your settings allow you to receive e-mail from “newsletters @ newsletters.poynter.org” (there should be no spaces in that e-mail address). If neither of those steps explains your missing newsletters, e-mail us and we’ll check your subscriptions.

If you are not a subscriber, you can become one simply by clicking on the “Subscribe via e-mail” link near the content you’d like to receive. Once you do, you’ll be prompted to provide a username, password and e-mail address. You can also subscribe by logging in here with your existing username and password or by registering here as a new user.

Then, click on the “subscriptions” tab to choose which newsletters you would like to receive (or stop receiving). If you have any questions or run into any problems, e-mail and we’ll help resolve them.

We have made it easy to comment on posts, however we require civility and encourage full names to that end (first initial, last name is OK). Please read our guidelines here before commenting.
