Tickets and fares after midnight

Where tickets and fares are concerned, services which run past midnight into the early morning of the next day are usually considered part of the previous day's services. For instance, if a bus service continues to operate past midnight on a Friday, it is still considered a Friday service.

go card users can just touch on and touch off like usual, and the correct fare will be worked out automatically.

Single, daily and off-peak daily paper tickets are valid until the last NightLink service or regular TransLink service scheduled for that night (within the zones printed on the ticket). For example, a daily ticket purchased on Friday morning will still be valid for Friday night's NightLink services, even if the service time is technically early on Saturday morning.

Paper ticket customers who catch a scheduled, next day regular TransLink service (like the first morning train service from the Saturday timetable) will need to purchase a new ticket for that day.

NightLink and late night fares are the same as regular TransLink fares.
