Helping Families Treat Childhood Respiratory Illnesses

Nothing says childhood like the care-free smile of a boy or girl running on a playground. However, for children with respiratory illnesses like asthma or cystic fibrosis, every breath can be a challenge.

Parents are relieved to hear that their child's illness can be treated with medications. Many families in our community lack the resources to be able to pay for the medicine.

The McAfee Foundation is dedicated to helping families bridge the gap while they seek permanent solutions for providing their children with medication. We have partnered with The Children's Medical Center of Dayton to make sure no child in need of respiratory medicine is denied.

How to Get Help

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or take your child to the nearest emergency room.

For non-emergency concerns, please contact your family doctor.

Seeking Financial Assistance

If your child has been diagnosed with a respiratory illness, and you are in need of financial assistance with medication expenses or supplies, please contact the The Pulmonary Medicine Department of The Children's Medical Center of Dayton at 641-3376 for more information.
