There has never been a time in the young history of our nation when the people have been less represented. We live in the “land of the free” but our government decides how we educate our children, how we discipline our children, how much of our money they should receive, what preachers can and cannot preach, when our children can pray, how much of our income we have to pay in for our retirement, and how we should receive health care. We are always forced to choose between two parties who continuously sell out the people who have elected them in favor of special interest groups, big donors, and the allure of more political power. Corruption, greed, incompetence and an ever-expanding government and tax load is what our political system has become. Over and over you hear people say that they voted for the lesser of the two evils. In a nation built by patriots who refused to live with tyranny we have surrendered our rights and squandered our inheritance. We have been handed down the greatest nation in the world and we are on course to pass off a bankrupt, third world nation to our children and grandchildren. People get the government they deserve, and sadly we have just that. We have sat quietly by while politicians have run our nation into the ground and have never demanded accountability. We have turned our backs as the Constitution has been ignored and as God has been forcibly purged from society. Things must change if this nation is return to prosperity and freedom. I humbly ask for your support as I strive to serve the people of Tennessee. I do not have the backing of a party, and I do not owe any allegiance to any special interest group. My only goal is to listen to the people of our great state and provide them a government that works for them to make lives safer, more prosperous, and gives them an opportunity to succeed. Our ancestors were forced to take up arms and fight for their freedom, all we have to do is show up at the polls and vote for it. I humbly ask for your support in the upcoming election.
