Five people were indicted Monday in connection with a case in which one man was shot to death and another barely survived being shot in the leg and having his throat slit.

Daniel Devon Gadson, 28, Elzandrae Antonio Warren, 28, and Montrevell Lewis were indicted on charges of murder in the shooting death of Darryl Delano Carter, 22, and first-degree assault in the shooting and cutting of Ira Joseph Robinson, 28, on Nov. 29.

They were also indicted for first-degree robbery in connection with the attack, which happened at Robinson's townhouse at 243 Hedgewood Court in the Woodhill area.

Gadson, Warren and Natalie Susanne Abreu were also indicted on a charge of tampering with physical evidence.

In addition, Gadson, Warren, Lewis, Abreu and Robin Lashay Christopher were indicted on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine base) and possession of marijuana.

Police have said that Robinson and Warren had met to arrange a drug deal, and when Warren arrived at Robinson's home to pick up the drugs, Gadson and Lewis, a juvenile, came with him.

They forced Robinson and Carter, who had been visiting, to the ground and tied them up with power cords. While having his throat cut, Robinson was able to free himself and escape to a neighbor's house. Carter's body was found by police on the floor of the townhouse.
