St. Mungo's Charity Ball 2003
Wizarding High Society gathers once again for its annual New Year's Eve Ball to benefit St. Mungo's Hospital. All donors are invited, as well as the rich, the important, and the well-connected, but many new faces come every year as a result of string-pulling and back-room deals. Activities include a dinner, a ball, and a charity auction. Black tie.
Headmaster's Office: Levin Michelmas
A large room, very different from the time of Dumbledore. It has lost all the gadgets and quirks from that era and is now a very plain office, every item serving only a function. The portraits of old headmasters still surround the room but they offer little advice.
The hall is laden with four house tables, on them is usually fine foods, goblets of wine and decorations, candles float in the air to provide lighting whilst all cowers below the enchanted ceiling which reflects the weather from the outside.
The astronomy tower gives the best sites in hogwarts. It is the tallest place in the castle and flows with magic from the stars that watch down onto it. This is the perfect place to be for romance.
The place for minor injuries, and sometimes even major ones. Grab a bed and get treated for your latest bludger bruise or nosebleed from your recent duel. Beware visitors, you may get in the way of the matrons work.
Books, books everywhere. This is an excellent place to study, Hogwarts resources are located here and you can find basically everything. However be quiet, the library is a quiet place. Rioters will be severely punished.
The grimy dungeon chambers and halls are mostly unexplored, secret chambers are down here which go undetected for various dark works. Tread down here with caution, the old torture chambers just may still be in use.
Staff Offices and Quarters
The various offices of each professor and head of house and also their living quarters where they live outside of their work inside Hogwarts. Students be careful about entering a Professor's room, you don't know what you may find behind the door...
The lush, flat lawns are perfect for ball games, relaxing and beautiful picnics. The lake side is beautiful in summer and there is nothing better than to see the Giant Squid stretching out in the lake's centre. The forest is on the rim of the Hogwart's grounds, it is both dark and dangerous filled with weird and wonderful creatures of the deep. Venture into the forest, and it may be the last time you venture anywhere.
A huge stadium with four great towers each emblazoned with the colours and sashes of the Hogwart's houses. Come here for a friendly throw around, or more intense Quidditch cames. House Quidditch matches are held here every year, please gain permission to practice from the appropriate Head of House.
Hogwart's Auror Headquarters: White Tower
The aurors have gained increasing powers at Hogwarts. THe ministry is desperate to locate the Elder Wand which is almost certainly in Hogwarts. The Ministry is starting to control more and more areas of people's lives - their presence at Hogwarts is the beginning of a police state. White Tower is almost a satirical name given to a transformed version of Hagrid's hut.
Valkyrie Wizard Prison: Ministry Controlled
Valkyrie Wizard Prison was built in 1999 after the Dementors turned wild and took over Azkaban. Valkyrie Wizard Prison is an enormous white castle build on a magical cloud that stays in the same position overlooking the North Sea. It is guarded by hundreds of Aurors and ministry officials. Many prisoners are used as testing vessels for new breeds of magic. Many are mentally or physically scarred in the process.
