Plaza Central
Description
Along with the name of the place, the facade of this modern building also bears a golden apple done in relief. The four storey building is laid out in the shape of a cross and each wing of the first floor has its own entrance. On the first two floors, you'll find a wide variety of businesses including bookstores, jewelry stores, boutiques, housewares stores and banks. The third floor has food vendors and ice cream shops, several movie theaters and one arcade. The fourth level is a parking garage.
From elite brands to cheap local stuff, this mall is a decent place to check out while in SD. The layout is a bit weird, but the large variety is welcome.
Prices: The elite brands are priced as such, but otherwise prices vary from cheap/fair to the opposite.
I visited there in the spring of 2003, and I loved it. Especially this mall. It was down the street from the college I attended there. The mall was not expensive, I went there everyday.
