OTTAWA — An Ottawa software programmer who engaged in online sexual chats about children with an undercover detective from his work pleaded guilty Friday to the possession and distribution of child pornography.Victor Lynch-Staunton, 55, admitted to engaging in the online conversation with the detective, in which he sent images of child pornography and stories about child sex, in October 2008 after going to a chat room focused on intra-family sex on his work computer.
