Soccer Geography

The D.C. United Soccer Geography program is an educational tool for students in the D.C. Metropolitan area in grades four through eight. The D.C Metropolitan area includes Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. The program provides interesting and valuable geography lesson plans for teachers to introduce into their classrooms.

This program is a lesson plan based activity kit, developed for hand-on use in the classroom. Each packet contains reproducible lesson plans, desk maps, and background information. Materials are free to teachers thanks to sponsorship from D.C. United and program sponsor Volkswagen.
