Morocco's Lower House Speaker meets delegation of international law experts

Rabat - Speaker of the House of representatives (Lower House) Abdelouahed Radi, held, Thursday in Rabat, talks with a delegation of international law experts , who recently participated in Dakhla at a seminar on democracy and human rights in the Moroccan autonomy plan for the Sahara.

     The talks focused notably on Moroccan autonomy initiative for the southern provinces (the Sahara) within legal and human rights framework.
    
    Radi told the press, after the meeting, that these experts said that the Moroccan autonomy proposal is a “democratic initiative that ensures all rights, particularly Human rights.”

    The experts’ findings support Morocco’s position, which is in line with the universal principles of human rights, Radi said, noting that the scientific study conducted by these experts on Moroccan Autonomy proposal will be a reference for academics, politicians, and international bodies.

    The experts hailed the development projects undertaken in Dakhla, adding that they will continue their visit to inquire about Morocco’s achievements and projects.

    These experts and researchers represent universities and research centers in Argentina, Belgium, Canada, France, Switzerland and Spain.
