For Charlotte "Charlie" Duncan, the title character in Disney Channel's Good Luck Charlie, turning 2 means twice the fun. It also means double her family's wacky antics. In Season 2 of the hit series, older sister Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) continues to film a video diary doling out daily advice for her littlest sibling. Charlie (Mia Talerico) will need it if she's going to survive being a teenager in the Duncan house. Case in point: In the season premiere, the entire family ends up getting thrown in jail! How will they get themselves out of the slammer? Find out February 20 when the episode airs on Disney Channel.

Bradley Steven Perry, 12, plays Gabe Duncan, who was the baby of the family before Charlie came along. TFK sat down with Bradley in New York City recently to chat about the show's second season.

TFK:

What can fans look forward to in the season premiere?

BRADLEY:

Lots of fun family comedy! It's Charlie's 2nd birthday, so Gabe, Teddy and PJ (Jason Dolley) take Charlie to a Gurgles concert. But they have to sneak in because they couldn't get tickets. Eventually, they get arrested and thrown in jail. In the meantime, their dad goes to get entertainment for Charlie's party and finds a guy who's selling a mini horse. Apparently, it wasn't a legal mini horse, so mom and dad get thrown in jail too.

TFK:

What kinds of fun stuff will Gabe get into this season?

BRADLEY:

Gabe has a birthday coming up; he's turning 12 and a half. He ballroom dances. He wants to play hockey, so his mom teaches him how to play. I haven't really gotten messy this season. I haven't gotten any mud dumped on me . . . yet!

TFK:

You really get to ham it up on the show. Are you anything like Gabe in real life?

BRADLEY:

I'm kind of like my character in the sense that I have older siblings. But Gabe is definitely more of a prankster than I am. He's very smart for his age. I don't think I'm clever enough to come up with great pranks.

TFK:

Bridgit Mendler has said that she is a big prankster on set. Is this true?

BRADLEY:

Bridgit will prank anyone. They're very simple pranks, though. She teepeed my dressing room once, and stacked a pyramid of trash cans in front of Jason's dressing room. Then, the next day she put the pyramid of trash cans in the dressing room. She was going to put jelly on Eric's [Allan Kramer's] door, but he walked in on her. She was also going to teepee Mama Leigh's room. That would have been funny.

TFK:

You call Leigh-Allyn Baker, Mama Leigh?

BRADLEY:

I do. I didn't realize I just said that in an interview! We have nicknames for everyone. Leigh is Mama Leigh. Eric is Daddy Eric. Jason is Juh-say. Bridget is Bridge or B-ridge. I'm Brad-lay. Random nicknames pop into Bridgit's head, like she might call me Braddle-funk or Braddle-funky-town.

TFK:

How is it working with Baby Mia?

BRADLEY:

It's really fun. It's just her playing Charlie, and not a pair of twins. Mia's been perfect. She's really smart. You can have a conversation with her. You ask her a question, and she answers. Or, she asks you a question, and you answer. It's really cute.

TFK:

What's it like being the baby in your own family?

BRADLEY:

I have three older sisters. It's not as bad as you would think, but it's weird when they dress me up. I'm like a doll to them.

TFK:

What do they dress you up in?

BRADLEY:

I made a bet with them once, and I lost. So they dressed me in a dress, a wig and heels, and did my makeup. Then, they made me walk across the street to my friend's house and knock on the door. Walking across the street in high heels, I gained a lot of respect for women. I felt like I was going to fall and die at least 10 times!

TFK:

How would you react if you found out you were going to get a little brother or sister?

BRADLEY:

I would be really excited. My mom is cringing, though. [Laughs]

TFK:

In a Season 1 episode, Gabe declares a Gabe Day. What would you do on Bradley Day?

BRADLEY:

I'd play sports and go to Italy. Although, by the time I flew to Italy, Bradley Day would probably be over. But if there wasn't a time issue, I would definitely go to Italy.

TFK:

What can you tell fans about the upcoming Good Luck Charlie movie?

BRADLEY:

I'm really excited. We're going on a family vacation, and I have a really fun scene where Gabe plays paintball. The family gets separated and [they have to find a way to reunite]. It's like a giant episode of Good Luck Charlie.

TFK:

You also play Roger Elliston in the Disney Channel original movie Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. What's his story?

BRADLEY:

I play Roger Elliston, the third. Roger is the male version of Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale). They're very competitive. It drives Sharpay crazy how amazing Roger's dog is. He was fun to play because he's so different from Gabe. Gabe is a typical 12-year-old boy who wears jeans and T-shirts, whereas Roger is this rich, classy guy who wears suits and sweaters every day.
