In Malawi, Africa HIV/AIDS has wiped out an entire adult generation.

More than half of the country's population is children. Robbed of their childhood, Malawi's children confront starvation, disease, and death alone in their daily struggle.

In May 2008, CTV Digital Media along with Ben Mulroney and Farley Flex travelled with UNICEF to Malawi to document these children's lives.

We thought we had traveled all that way to inspire them, to help lift their spirits - when in fact it was they who lifted ours.

These children's voices - their collective song - has to be heard.
