Acceptance marks displayed on top left of this sign

An acceptance mark, in the world of credit cards denotes a merchant who accepts one or more card types. The purpose of the mark is to provide the card holder with information where his or her card can be used. An acceptance mark differs from the cards product names (such as American Express Black card, Eurocard), as they show the group of cards accepted. An acceptance mark corresponds to the same mark being shown on the card.
