Food Network Star

Brianna Jenkins

Eliminated Week 6

Brianna, 30 (Atlanta, Ga.), originally studied food journalism at Georgia Perimeter College but fell in love with cooking after moving to Atlanta. She graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Cuisine Française in Paris and now serves as the executive chef and owner of her own catering company. In her spare time, Brianna teaches cooking classes and travels the world looking for culinary inspiration.

Food specialty? Global cuisine, food for entertaining and small bites

Favorite restaurant? Pura Vida

Three foods you can't live without (other than bread or water)? Eggplant, pasta and chocolate

Food you won't go near? Intestines

Weirdest thing you've ever eaten? Cow testacles and udders at a Brazilian barbecue in Argentina.

Interests and hobbies? Cooking (of course), shopping, exercising and traveling.

Favorite Food Network chef? Mario and Bobby

Favorite shows (don't have to be on Food Network)? United States of Tara and Millionaire Matchmaker.

Favorite food destination? Paris and Argentina

Culinary inspirations? Traveling, my ethnically diverse friends and family.

Three people, alive or dead, whom you'd like to invite to a dinner party, and what culinary delights would you prepare for your guests? Oprah, my grandmother, Julia Childs and Wendy Williams. I would serve a seven-course haute cuisine-style menu with an international, yet Southern, twist.

Favorite books? Kitchen Confidential, Memoirs of a Geisha and New Earth.

Favorite movies? Funny Girl, Goodfellas, Les Miserables and French Kiss.

Why do you think you should be the Season 6 Food Network Star? I can hit an untapped market. I can show people that entertaining can be fun and easy.
