Isildur1 VS Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, and Patrik Antonius

Isildur1 is a very sick individual indeed. Not only has he decided to take on Tom Dwan aka durrrr, but hes now 8 tabling at Full Tilt Poker versus Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, and Patrik Antonius.

This seems like the best strategy to trap the hyper aggressive young player who tends to over bet pots and river. Simply play allot of flops and wait for him to hang himself with an all in river overbet bluff. The best way to beat a player like Isildur1, is to wait for him to make a disastrous move like he tends to make. Durrrr likes to bluff reraise all in air if he senses weakness. Isildur1 tends to do this way more often than durrrr.

I was watching high stakes Omaha poker and mixed HA (holdem / omaha) last night at Full Tilt poker and couldn’t believe the amount of action that was going on. At one point Tom Dwan aka Durrrr had over 1.5 million across 3 tables!

Gus Hansen, Tom Dwan, Ilari Sahamies aka Ziigmund, John Hennigan aka World1969, and Phil Ivey were all playing last night. At first I saw John Hennigan and his solid play as he won with AAxx in Omaha, but then Ziigmund seemed to put him on tilt after he put a bad beat on John.

Howard Lederer enters cash games once again! Howard has turned over most of his duties at Full Tilt Poker to others and has time to play cash games again. Howard is said to be the number one limit Holdem player in the world. I was really happy to see that hes not rusty at all from the second part of a 500 1000 limit session I caught at Full Tilt Poker. Howard was playing rafiboy and Da munsta short handed 500/1000 limit and showed that his poker prowess is still intact. Howard Lederer worked his stack up to 47k and exited the HEROS mixed game after his specialty of Holdem.

I think HEROS has same games as H.O.R.S.E but just different order? This way there isn’t 3 stud poker games in a row….

Howard stated on a Poker Road interview that hes been busy with the day to day operations of Full Tilt and hasn’t had time to play. Recently he limited himself to less duties, so he can
play poker full time again. Howard Lederer has a background in strategy games and plays chess at a master level! Howard learned to play poker in a New York chess club that he used to work for and later started playing higher stakes at the Mayfair Club. Recently he invited his old friends form the Mayfair Club for a tournament on Poker After Dark.
