DIN_FRU Wins High Stakes Mixed Game Session

Posted by Poker Videos on October 15th, 2010

Full Tilt Poker was back at it again on Tuesday with high stakes mixed games. This time, three of the biggest players in the world joined the action. UarePileous and DIN_FRU were joined by Full Tilt Poker Online pro Jani Vilmunen in the action. The high stakes hands didn’t take very long, when Jani Vilmunen won the first pot of $4500 with ace high.

Jani1

‘DIN_FRU’ took this next hand in the Limit Hold’Em round with a $1000 bet on the river, forcing UarePileous to fold.

Jani2

The biggest hand to this point took place, also in Hold’Em, this time between Jani Vilmunen and UarePileous who took the hand with a full house. The pot was worth over $9000.

Jani3

UarePileous took another big pot, this time for $6500 with a $1000 bet on the river.

Jani4

The short winning streak came to an end when a flush draw missed and DIN_FRU took this hand with three aces.

Jani5

The game switched to Stud H/L. While many hands end up being split between players, this was an exception. With no qualifying low, DIN_FRU scooped the entire pot with a full house, sixes full of deuces.

Jani6

DIN_FRU took another big pot, this time in Razz with a bet on seventh street.

Jani7

The game once again switched, this time to Stud Hi. DIN_FRU took another huge pot here, this time for nearly $14,000 with aces up.

Jani8

The streak continued again, when ‘DIN_FRU’ won another big pot off ‘UarePileous,’ this time in Pot Limit Omaha. Aces held, and ‘DIN_FRU’ took the pot of over $8500.

Jani9

As was the trend in the final few hands, DIN_FRU was the winner on the session, taking most of the winning, just about $30,000 total, from his main nemesis of the day, UarePileous.

High Stakes 7-Game recap David Oppenheim – Urindanger

Posted by Poker Videos on October 6th, 2010

I was looking for high stakes NL or Pot Limit Omaha and stumbled upon nosebleed 1500/3000 Limit 7 Game at Full Tilt Poker. The session ended with David Oppenheim coming close to breaking even after a tilty session that had a debate on high stakes mixed game poker etiquette.

David Oppenheim Vs Urindanger
This would be the turning point where David would go on small rush and win some of his money back

David Oppenheim Vs Urindanger 2
David would win this huge pot and Urindanger would politely promise to play him soon and would walk with his wins. Urindanger decided to take a shot at one of the top 5 limit mixed game players in the world. He would soon make the wise decision to sit out.

Earlier there would be a unanimous decision that Observer84 was sitting out his bad games and had attempted to hit and run in 7 game mix. He would later agree to play an orbit to appease the high stakes players.

UarePileous: obs, u know u cant sit out and play no limit
UarePileous: all of a sudden
David Oppenheim: pilaeus is right you shouldn’t do that
EazyPeazy: i hear full tilt is making a specail program for you to separate the stub opie
Gus Hansen: lol
EazyPeazy: we are not exclusive anymore
David Oppenheim: hmmmmmm
EazyPeazy: theyll show the deck in the middle of the pot
EazyPeazy: biggest addition since the advent of the hole card camera
EazyPeazy: yes isend ron washington some coke already
EazyPeazy: no anger for opie the stub was sperated there
Gus Hansen: big time separation
EazyPeazy: look at his smile
Gus Hansen: wonder what you could fit in that big mouth of his????
EazyPeazy: mine is too small
Gus Hansen: that’s true my dear
David Oppenheim: lol
David Oppenheim: very gay
EazyPeazy: you remember gussy how touching
EazyPeazy: we had to long time ago i coulndt sweat gussy unlees we were banging
EazyPeazy: observer you must play all games
Observer84: playing omaha which I cannot even beat low limits at
UarePileous: u think theese guys can?
EazyPeazy: dont care play all 8 or play nothing
UarePileous: u gotto play all the games
UarePileous: thats the rules
Observer84: hmm just wanted to gamble and nothing around
Urindanger: lol
Urindanger: he sits in the NL rounds then leaves?
Urindanger: no way anyone would do that
EazyPeazy: even uridanger who is a plo specialist plays all the games
UarePileous: if u dont play all games
UarePileous: ur gonna be reported
UarePileous: i mean this is 7 games maybe u didnt know u cant just play 3 of them
David Oppenheim: it seems from the chat that he doesnt really care if he gets reported or that its wron to do
Observer84: yup you are right :( just nothing going on so I wanted to play 30 hands and chill
Observer84: i could play omaha which I have basically less than 20hours expierence in
Observer84: that was my plan actually..
UarePileous: doesnt really matter
Observer84: up to you i am a fish in omaha
EazyPeazy: get up and never sit down
David Oppenheim: it doesnt matter its just not right to not play all the games
UarePileous: yeah gotto play all the games
Observer84: i agree sorry thought i could gamble in omaha were I am clearly the least good out of you guys
David Oppenheim: observer could you leave so someone could take the seat’
Observer84: obv.
David Oppenheim: it has been apleasure chatting woith you
Gus Hansen: you can ask a different way Oppey
Observer84: bleh
David Oppenheim: im sorry if i was rude
Observer84: okay I play all games 1 orbit
Observer84: is that fair or you just want me to leave
UarePileous: it would make up for ur dreadfulness
David Oppenheim: if you play all the games your welcome to play
Observer84: david I play all
Gus Hansen: of course you can play but you shouldnt take the spot from someone who wants to play
David Oppenheim: as far as im concerned, but it seems as you though you have not made many friends here
Urindanger: so whats the etiquette for these games
Urindanger: its okay to quit on your worse game?
Urindanger: naw obs, you did more than you were supposed to imo
Urindanger: so you get credit for that
Urindanger: alot of these guys would just gotten up and left
David Oppenheim: its all good buddy

Brian Hastings and Brian Townsend aka sbrugby post wins

Posted by Poker Videos on July 23rd, 2010

The big Full Tilt Poker high limit mixed games went off again on Tuesday. The first of the two big tables going off saw David Oppenheim take on Brian Townsend screen name ’sbrugby.’ The first hand we saw saw Oppenheim lay a Stud hand down on the river to Townsend’s $3000 bet.

Gus 1

The next hand saw a massive pot get all of Oppenheim’s money in the middle. Although he flopped top pair, he was way behind Townsend’s flopped top set. He didn’t get there, and Townsend won the pot for more than $50,000.

Gus2

David Oppenheim re-bought, and the games continued. This hand saw Townsend make a min-raise of an additional $1800, forcing Oppenheim to lay his hand down and leave himself with yet another short stack.

Gus3

In the Limit Hold’Em game, all the money went in on the flop. Oppenheim had a bleak king high and didn’t get there, once again losing his stack to Townsend.

Gus4

Oppenheim finally got some back in this hand. Flopping top pair top kicker, Oppenheim faced a big bet on the river. He made the call, picking off Townsend’s missed flush draw bluff for a pot of $60,000.

Gus5

This was enough for Oppenheim. Only being down around $20,000 at this point in the game, he opted out and left the table. Townsend also left, but it didn’t take long for both seats to fill. High limit pro Gus Hansen took one seat. As is expected at these limits, it didn’t take long for Hansen to find an opponent, as Brian Hastings joined him at the table. The first big hand played by the two came in this pot of PLO. Hansen made a pot sized bet on the turn, which was good enough to force Hastings out.

Gus6

Hastings got the better of Hansen in this hand with a raise on the river.

Gus7

Hastings won another big pot, this time in the Stud H/L round. Three kings were good enough for the scoop and most of Hansen’s chips.

Gus8

Hansen bought back with a big stack and won another big hand on seventh street of the Stud Hi round.

Gus9

On the sessions, the two winners were both Brian Hastings and Brian Townsend, taking home a little more than $50,000 and $20,000 each.
