Electrovaya Inc. (Electrovaya) develops, manufactures and markets portable power technology products. The Company's main products include mobile computing solutions, batteries for aerospace and defense, and power systems for electric vehicles, including plug-in hybrid electric vehicle applications. Mobile computing solutions consist of the PowerPad series of batteries, Scribbler series of tablet personal computers (PC), and SC300 series of third-generation tablet PCs. The batteries for aerospace and defense consisted of specialized batteries and chargers for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), as well as certain defense industries, and includes precision machining of metal, plastics and other materials for specific applications. In January 2007, Electrovaya announced the launch of its MN-Series Lithium Ion SuperPolymer battery technology. During the fiscal year ended September 30, 2007, customers in the United States accounted for 69% of its revenues.
